Public & Private Water
Grand County, Colorado offers some of the best public fishing areas in the Rocky Mountains. During the peak summer months, these publicly-accessible sites may become overcrowded. Fishing with an experienced local guide, however, can help you beat the crowds.
If you are looking for complete and total solitude, you may want to consider private water fishing. Winter Park Flyfisher works with a number of local landowners to secure some of the most secluded and bountiful fishing spots in the state, including along the scenic Fraser River. The private access fee varies per property.
Wade & Float Fishing Guided Trips
We also offer both wade fishing and float fishing expeditions. Wade fishing, which is done by walking along the shoreline, offers an easy and engaging fishing process. Float fishing, meanwhile, is a more intimate and active fishing experience, where you can take in the sights along the scenic river.

We ask for a 50% deposit to secure your Guided Trip. If you cancel 7 days or more before your trip you will receive a refund of your deposit minus a 15% booking fee. Full payment is due once you hit the 7th day before the 1st day of your trip. If you cancel inside the 7th day you will be charged in full. We do try to work with you if you need to change the date of your trip and we have guides available for the alternate date.
